Could your school provide an inspired gift?

Schools can involve children in fundraising activities in a number of ways. Sponsored activities can work well as only a few pence can add up to a considerable amount of money and pupils enjoy a challenge. Here are some ideas:

  • A musical concert;
  • A seasonal fair;
  • A sports event/day;
  • A sponsored silence;
  • A sponsored spell;
  • A raffle with a twist - each class collects items for a hamper but only items of a given colour are allowed;
  • Organise a badge day - Zöe's Place will even provide a badge for each pound donated;
  • A school quiz between pupils, teachers and parents;
  • Try something more unusual like a raffle where the main prize is to shadow the head teacher for a day.

Why not use Zöe's Place as a project for your students?

You could use Zöe's Place as the basis of a project by adopting us as your chosen charity.  The students could find out about our work and we would be happy to come along and give a talk about this and how we raise funds.  They could then put together a range of events and activities over a period of time to help raise funds.
