As a parent there is no greater pain than that of losing a child.
We believe one day or a hundred years life is equally important to us here. Each individual is afforded respect and dignity regardless of gender, race, culture, religious beliefs or disability.
The Zöe’s Place Trust has pioneered the way forward in helping parents to cope with the shock of losing a child by providing a bereavement suite located in a separate part of the Hospice. The suite is warm and cosy and experience has shown that this is a huge help to grieving parents and families, at a time, which without doubt, is one of the worst moments of their lives.
The suite is a place for families to spend time with their little one and allow them the dignity and peace to say goodbye to a part of their lives that can never be replaced.
Our first floor chapel is available for use by the parents and families if necessary.
