Dame Tanni Grey-Thompson
Tanni is the greatest Para-Olympian, having performed at world-class level for the past 13 years.
She won four gold medals in the 2000 Sydney Paralympics and in 2001 was admitted to the World Sports Academy.
Tanni recently announced her retirement from international athletics.
Suzannah Clarke
Born in Middlesbrough and now Ambassador for her town, Suzannah trained at the Royal Northern College of Music and with Pavarotti’s singing teacher Arrigo Pola, in Italy.
She has appeared at some of the top opera houses in the world.
Alastair Brownlee
Alastair was born in Middlesbrough and has been a keen supporter of the team since the sixties, he has commentated on over 1,000 Boro games and is the voice of the Boro on Century FM.
Countess Ronaldshay
Countess Ronalshay was the first Patron of Zöe's Place in Middlesbrough and continues to work tirelessly promoting the Hospice.
