Payroll Giving

Owen and |zzy
Thousands of people like you in Companies are using payroll giving to help support their favourite charities.  Why don't you help to support Zoë's Place?

What is Payroll Giving?

Payroll giving is a way of making a regular weekly or monthly donation to Zoë's Place direct from your salary.  It is really easy to set up through your payroll department.  It is also tax efficient as the donation is made after National Insurance, but before tax.  This means that instead of the tax being paid to the government, it is sent to Zoë's Place.  For example, as a standard rate taxpayer, if you pledge £5 from your gross salary each month it would actually only cost you £3.90 yet Zoë's Place would receive £5.00.  As a higher rate tax payer Zoë's Place would receive the same £5.00 but it would only cost you £3.00 to make the donation.

Who can give?

Anyone can donate through payroll giving if their pay or pension is taxed through PAYE.  Your employer will also need to be set up for a Payroll Giving Scheme.
