We are extremely lucky and grateful that our daughter Isobel attends Zoë's Place on a regular basis as it is such a wonderful hospice.
All children need lot's of attention, but those with special needs require much more. This is exhausting physicall and mentally for the parents and families and Zoë's provides the respite needed to recharge your batteries, work or regain slight normaliti for a short while.
Usually Isobel is quite clingy to her Dad or myself, but as soon she knows we're pulling into the car park she starts to clap and cheer. She loves the staff who have become part of her second family (she has even adopted another Nana!!!) and we trust them whole heartedly to look after and care for our precious little girl. Not only are her medical needs met, she also has fun and learns new things.
Without the hospice we would be lost, as Isobel has breathing, feeding, neurological and hearing problems and requires twenty four hour care and lot's of love! We feel blessed that we have Isobel and having Zoë's Place to help us, is the icing on the cake! A huge thank you to all the staff.
